Back to Egypt
Serebit el Khadim
There is only one Egyptian temple in the Sinai Peninsula. After a long journey
through uncharted territory over desert sands, you reach newly build steps up a
mountain.
After two hours of walking you come to the temple of Hathor. Important Pharaohs
were here. Names like Amenemhat III, son of Senusret III who was a
contemporary of Abram.
The famous queen Hatshepsut, foster mother of Moses and Tutmosis III were
also involved in this temple.
Another great contribution of Serebit el Khadim is the proto-Siniatic script
which is found here.
150 Years before Moses wrote Genisis and the book of Job, and alphabet was developed
which enabled Moses to use less letters in writing his inspired messages.
There is also a resemblance between proto-Siniatic script and the ancient Armenian
petroglyph’s.
